Welcome to The Inner Table

Where food noise quiets and your inner wisdom leads.

I’m Dr. Lyn, and I created The Inner Table to help professional women like you finally rise above food noise—without dieting, restriction, or force. If you’ve spent years stuck in cycles of overeating, guilt, and second-guessing, I want you to know: You don’t need more control. You need more connection—to yourself.

Why I Do This Work

After almost two decades of clinical experience, I’ve seen firsthand that most women don’t need another diet or meal plan.

They need a path home to their calm, wise, nourished self. That’s what The Inner Table is—a return to your inner anchor.

My Framework: The RISE Method

At the heart of everything I teach is a four-step process called The RISE Method.

  1. Recognise the food noise
  2. Investigate your patterns with compassion
  3. Soothe your nervous system with gentle, effective tools
  4. Engage with nourishing, embodied action.

The RISE Method blends mindfulness, neuroscience, and emotional regulation to help you reconnect with your body’s wisdom—and step into sustainable health without shame or pressure.

Rooted in Current Research. Guided by Timeless Wisdom.

My approach blends the latest insights from neuroscience and behavior change with mindfulness-based eating practices. I’m deeply inspired by thought leaders including:

  • Michael Inzlicht

The neuroscience of self-control and emotional regulation

  • Dan Siegel

This work is both practical and profound.

It's where the science of the brain meets the wisdom of the body

Beyond The Science

When I’m not teaching or writing, you’ll find me walking in nature, enjoying a cup of tea, or journaling by hand. These small rituals keep me connected to the same presence I teach.

This journey is personal — and I'm honoured to walk it with you.

Let's Take the First Step Together
